About Client:

A Canadian multinational financial services company and one of the largest Canadian multinational bank by market capitalisation. It is serving over 16 million clients with offerings like retail banking, corporate banking, investment banking, mortgage loans, private banking, wealth management, credit cards, finance and insurance, etc.

Client Challenges

Cost of upgrading existing oracle forms application 6i to 10g was high, resulting in requirement for BPI and enhanced functionality.

Siebel CRM upgrade from IP2016 to IP2018 with major regulatory CRs also being delivered in parallel. Additional challenges faced for configuring SSO, HTTPS implementation, LDAP implementation and web layout changes.

IQD (Impromptu Query Data), used for cubes preparation, was used to form a bridge with the upgraded Cognos 10.1 will not work for a longer period of time, so a Data Mart approach was proposed by InfrasoftTech. Entire structure of Database required to be changed because Cognos 10.1 required subject oriented data structure.

Generation of complex bespoke reports like Participant Data report, Asset holding report and automation of getting data into Centralized Data warehouse for faster turnaround time with more accuracy and transparency of information for both the parties.

Migration of automation scripts from UFT to SIFT Framework

The Solution

The goal was to build a chatbot to help the bank in enhancing their customer experience functions and to increase engagements. The platform was designed to reach customers in real-time, categorize their queries and resolve them.

Form migration tool used for migration, and migrated modules were compiled in batch mode. Re-architected the platform without impacting the application functionality.

Migrated Siebel CRM to the latest version available in the market with this being only the second migration in the world. Resolved complex challenges along the way including Tomcat & Wallet Manager configuration for SSO with SSL.

Migrated from IBM Cognos 7.4 to Cognos 10.1.1 including database restructuring and IQD with Framework Manager Packages removal. Also structured the database and ETL packages to work with combination of Star & Snow flake schemas.

Loaded real-time data into the staging area from three different operational data sources. Centralized availability of data enabling users across multi location to access information and provide workflow status transparency.

New scripts were developed in Selenium & Python for web based application and LeanFT & C# for windows based applications.
